The Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) Group serves as a resource centre to carry out basic engineering and provide complete process specifications for a project.

The various functions of the FEED Group include :

• Dealing directly with international process licensors and providing the vital link between the process technology supplier and project execution. This facilitates sourcing of latest proprietary technologies available in the area of refineries, oil & gas processing, petrochemicals and fertilisers.
  
• Exploring the possibility of business alliance with leading global process licensors by evaluating relative merit and comparing various technologies available.
  
• Converting process technology details received from the licensor into basic engineering package, which in turn forms the basis for detailed engineering and execution.
  
• Revamp study through plant data collection and process simulation followed by preparation of basic engineering package.
  
• System design for offsites and utilities including sizing of equipment and selection of utility packages.
  
• Plant commissioning to meet desired quality
